Recent reports have found that over 80 percent of engineers in India are unemployable as they lack the technical skills required by employers now.
Every year, thousands of engineering graduates pass out of college, but only a tiny handful of them are trained in the skills that employers need now.
There is a need to address the issue of the employability quotient of the students.

Dr. Mohammed Arifuddin Sohel is a Professor and Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology. He has spoken about the factors which help engineering students enhance their employability quotient.
