Chili and jalapeno cornbread is one of my favorite meals. It's even better when cooked outdoors, over coals, in a camp Dutch oven. It just doesn't get any better than that.
You can certainly cook this meal in your kitchen and it will still taste great. But, there's something about cooking outdoors in my camp Dutch oven that seems to make everything taste better. And, it's a whole lot of fun as well.
This cornbread is delicious and is the perfect compliment to a tasty batch of chili. Like I said earlier, you can cook this meal indoors, but for me, it tastes better when cooked outdoors. So fire up the coals and cook some Dutch oven chili and jalapeno cornbread. You'll be glad you did.
