Mustard Hilsha Recipe
Take 2 table spoons of mustard seeds (Black and yellow mixed), 1 table spoon of poppy seeds(khaskhas/posto) , 2 table spoons of dahi,2 teaspoons of salt,2 teaspoons of turmeric,2 green chillies in a mixer grinder.
Make a smooth paste and keep aside
Take 5-6 pieces of fresh Hilsha and marinate with salt and turmeric. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
Heat 2-3 table spoons of mustard oil in a pan.
Shallow fry the marinated fishes.
Add the mustard paste and stir .
Add half a glass of water and mix it with the paste.
Cover and cook for 3-4 mins.Garnish it with 2-3 green chilies
Mustard Hilsha is ready to be served with steamed rice.
