You think that after all the meticulous planning and careful installation, nothing can go wrong with your 12V system. I did!
Thankfully, this little fuse saved the day when a cheap dimmer switch I’d used malfunctioned and started passing constant power through the circuit. The lights couldn’t be turned off — which is really bad.
Luckily, before any cables could overheat, the fuse did its job and popped, cutting power to the circuit completely.
No matter how careful you are, it’s always critical to fuse your 12V system. You never know where a fault might pop up.
