In November 2025, on Wasini Island, Kenya, our team worked alongside the local Wasini Beach Management Unit to build coral restoration capacity from the ground up.
Our project film shows the full process: from teaching coral reef basics and nursery construction to collecting and fragmenting corals and finally installing five new coral nurseries together with the people from the community. In total, 2,100 coral fragments were placed on rope nurseries, with an additional 300 fragments installed on coral trees.
