Who are the 24 Elders of Revelation 4:4? In the Throne Room of Heaven in Revelation 4 and 5, we find that there are 24 thrones with 24 elders around the throne of God. The number 24 is a symbolic number that represents the fullness of God's people both before and after the cross. A careful study of the Bible reveals very important truth about these 24 elders and concludes that they represent all of God's people who have died and gone to be with Christ in heaven. Their white raiment, crowns of gold and their worship of God also confirm that they are God's people.
And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
