Garden Fireworks Display

This video was an experiment to record some footage of my family small garden fireworks display accompanied by some royalty free music. I didn't plan this shoot however captured some footage of the display at it occurred, editing the video using Sony Movemaker a very old piece of video editing software.

Guy Fawkes night takes place on the fifth of November and is also known as Bonfire night ad fireworks night which occurs anually commemorating the events of 1605 when Guy Fawkes, a member of the Gunpowder plot was arrested while guarding explosives the plotters had placed beneath the House of Lords. The plotters had attempted to assassinate King James 1st and his parliament. Celebrating the King's survival, the public lit bonfires around London.

Remember that if you are planning to host your own fireworks display ensure you refer to the Fireworks Regulations 2004 act, the Pyrotechnic Articles Safety Regulations 2015 and British Standards laws. The fireworks featured within this video include category 2 garden fireworks which must be viewable from 5 metres away and must not scatter any debris beyond 3 metres.

Popular types of fireworks include fountains, sparklers, roman cadles and small multi shot barrages. These create a colourful and fun display, while also being safe.
