This run was performed on my twitch channel on 6/23/25
This is the first run in the new emulator category. A few months ago I became the sole moderator for the speedrun board of this game and thought that it's about time an emulator board was made for the game. The old mods banned all emulators, so the only way to speedrun the game was to drop well over 100 dollars on it if you're lucky.
This was a test run using Duckstation, and while I took a lot of time figuring out things since I haven't played in a while a lot went right here. New Almekia actually did some attacking which meant I didn't have to take as many castles so that's really helpful. I think with similar luck, a little practice to remember summon points for certain key monsters, and a bit faster execution on some parts this time can go so much lower.
