Описание: When a recent neck cancer patient at Parkview was treated with radiation, the irritation in her neck made it difficult for her to eat. She became dehydrated and lost so much weight she was placed in the hospital. When she was discharged, it was realized that she could not afford the nutrition drinks she needed. Donors to Parkview Foundation were able to support this patient by providing the Ensure shakes she so desperately needed. Because of this generosity, the patient is now recovering with the nutrition she needs, is in therapy and has been able to gain her weight back.
