A busy and beloved presence in the NYC underground, Meilgaarden arrives on Sorry Records with her debut single release -- a riotous acid house party rocker complete with a lean, DJ friendly acid remix from Chicago rave superstar Ariel Zetina (Local Action, Smartbar).

We met Andrea a few summers back when we both played Stream Informer's Good Room / Glen Falls weekender upstate. She runs two stellar club nights here in NYC - Sound Gymnastics and Mister Sister - and is constantly playing great parties all over NYC and beyond at places like Nowadays, Basement, Bossa Nova, Good Room, Public Records as well as yuyu in Mexico, Video Club in Bogotá, Body Language in Berlin, and venues in Copenhagen, Amsterdam, and Stockholm. Although this release is formally her debut single, Andrea is a seasoned DJ, appearing alongside everyone from Timmy Regisford to DJ Holographic, Ben Klock to AceMo.

Our eternal NYC DJ favorite / the father of our entire style Ron Like Hell has had Meilgaarden as a guest on both his The Space Between Spaces residency on The Lot Radio and at his Plexus party at Paragon in Brooklyn. She also recently played Sunday evening at Nowadays Nonstop sandwiched between Byron Yeates and Ron, and made an appearance at Wire Festival.
