As we step into 2025, I reflect on the transformative year we’ve shared and look ahead to the challenges before us. The ITF Congress in Marrakesh laid the foundation for a strong five-year program to tackle key issues: climate change, artificial intelligence, and the rise of the far right.

These global challenges demand unity, collaboration, and solidarity. Together, we can defend workers’ rights, advance trade union freedoms, and strive for a stronger, fairer future.

As always, trade unionists stand for peace. My greatest wish for 2025 is an end to conflict and a united fight for justice, fairness, and workers everywhere.
