Follow along for another segment of our California road trip from Colorado. This segment of highway 178 through the southern Sierra Nevada mountains of California is the prelude to my other video of the Kern river canyon. This drive was filmed in late November and there's still fall colors. This drive was a surprise for us as we have never driven this section of California.
After driving through Death Valley in the afternoon we camped outside Lone Pine California, we decided to take a scenic route on our way to the Pacific Coast in Carpenteria.
