First Person Series in iClone 8: Helping Elona with her Stubborn Studebaker Starliner

Take your Dramamine for the first part of this video as it is one continuous clip. I'll post a behind the scenes later since this video required some digital slight of hand. So why go through all this? I think in this genre you need to put the viewer more into the scene, and what better that first person. I recall when GTA V included first person in I believe the xbone ps4 version. I remembered how much more brutal the game felt since it put you in a more immersive perspective. If you've been to the UHF Horizon After Dark Channel at 'Corn Hub' you'll see the first attempt at first person story telling. I feel strongly that this will allow the viewer to have a more personal experience. The camera was attached to Callan's head with the FOV adjusted. Oh, and I forgot to enable blinking on Elona 1, so that's why she looks like she took a macro dose. But having the characters interact with the camera changes it. I've mentioned in previous videos that I felt like the viewer was just a passive observer and struggled to overcome that. Well thankfully the first person camera seems to be doing decent.

This car had to be exported piece by piece since the large obj export screwed with the parenting hierarchy. Doors became part of the body, steering wheel part of the dash, a real unusable mess. So thankfully exporting each segment worked. The pedals were built in Nomad Sculpt and textured using the Substance 200 pack.
