Ingredients:
2 cups poha (flattened rice)
1 medium onion (finely chopped)
1/2 tomato (finely chopped)
1 cup peas
1 green chilli (chopped)
2 tbsp peanuts
½ tsp mustard seeds
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves
Recipe:
Heat a drop of ghee. Add peanuts and fry 2 minutes until slightly crunchy. Remove and keep aside.
In the same pan add 1 tsp ghee and add mustard seeds
when mustard seeds start popping, add chopped onions.
Cook until onions become soft and slightly translucent. Add peas and cook, then add tomatoes.
Add the soaked poha to the pan.
Mix gently so the grains don't break.
Cook 2–3 minutes on low heat.
Finally, add:
green chilli
fried peanuts
lemon juice
coriander leaves
Mix lightly and switch off the flame. Your soulful bowl of Poha is ready 😇❤️
