Demo of an essentially 3D-printed filament spoler with independent but sychronized stepper motors with the following major properties.
Easy adjustment of filament guider (not just for Bambulab 😀)
Width set by adjustable non-contact hall effect sensors
Automatic Width feedback
Configurable Guide Travel / Target Turn
Configurable Auto Stop features
Target spool - Shut-down when max turns limit reached (tranfered weight)
easily calculated as a function of desired max diameter as
Turns = ((Max spool diameter -Min Spool diameter) x Spool Width)/(2 x (Filament diameter)^2 )
as an alternative max turns may be calculated as a function of transfered weight but this require the density to be known and a small script (e.g. in matlab).
