Описание: "Every Tuesday I wake up happy from Monday night. Electric Waste Band played their 1,737th show at WinstonsOB last Monday. They hold the longest music residency in San Diego. So it’s no wonder they’ve been able to create such an amazing experience of community. In fact, they’ve received awards of recognition for “outstanding service and dedication to making Ocean Beach a vibrant community” by the City of San Diego, the California State Assembly and State Senate, and the US House of Representatives.
"Their music is insanely good—by far my favorite, but it’s the gestalt of Mondays that make them so special: the palpable feeling of love. The individual band members are some of the kindest people I know. Many of the Monday night regulars have become close friends, and the others I look forward to seeing each week at what is fondly termed “church.” I could write (and practically have written) odes about what the Winstons family means to me. All of these elements combined creates something that feels very rare and incredibly special. Personally speaking, I’ve never experienced such consistency of quality community in my life. I’m profoundly thankful for the years I’ve been included in this goodness.
