The REAL Reason Why Gretsch Guitars Are Popular In Church (Easy Answer...Hillsong Riffs)

Описание: If you’re wondering why church guitarists love a Gretsch guitar so much...it really began with a few Aussie fellas in my hometown of Sydney, Australia by the surnames of Moyse, Hendroff, Chislett, Thomas, Beaumont & Klein (to name a few) making killer riffs in church with Gretsch’s during a time where music in church had a big revamp in its sound in the late 90s-mid 2000s. The Gretsch guitars so happened to be THE perfect guitar sound for what they were going for. It had the clarity and jangle when it was clean, but also had the grunt and punch when overdriven to rock territory.
here’s a few of those riffs made with a Gretsch in the mix. Not only did these songs revolutionise how we made music in church, but they also inspired a generation of guitar players in church.
