Описание: OWÓ (Money) is an opera acted and sung in Yoruba language. It is produced by the Creative Unit of New Wine Ensemble inspired by the music of Seun Owoaje.
It was performed at White Christmas Festival 9.0 (An Evening of Christmas Music Chapter 18), December 6th, 2020 at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Auditorium, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Nigeria .

Brief Description of the Opera:

OWÓ (Money) - It is a representation of a young man struggling to get rich by every possible means because of social pressure. He was then encouraged by an elder to work hard and pray to God to prosper him. This was followed by other Counsels for him to be patient, wise and watchful when he becomes wealthy.
