A Day In Battambang | This Cambodian City Surprised Us

Описание: Day 2 of our motorbike road trip across Cambodia brought us to Battambang. This Cambodian city surprised us a lot. We met some friendly locals, tried great local Khmer food Lok Lak for the first time, witnessed shocking memorials remembering Cambodia's dark history and saw unbelievable natural wonders at the Battambang bat caves. We only spent a day in Battambang but this riverside city has so much more to offer, from beautiful French colonial architecture, ancient temples and fun activities for tourists such as the famous bamboo train, Battambang is definitely an underrated tourist destination and should be on your list of places to visit next time you're in Cambodia.

There is also a cave on the hill nearby, we recommend coming a bit earlier if you want to visit this before the bats fly out. Bats start around 5:30pm.
