If we take all the pressures off, everything that has been socially conditioned as “the right way”... and let our own intuition and deepest truth be the guide, what does judgement look like? How does it express itself in our daily lives?
The Dark Moon is the time when only earthlight illuminates the near side of the moon. It is the absence of the sun’s reflection and all the energy it provides. The volume of the sun’s energy is turned down. This is a time to sit with our higher selves and take a look at the ego shell we have developed to assimilate ourselves into this topsy turvy beautiful world.
This is a time to lucidly interact and play with what we’re uncomfortable about. The sun’s spotlight is off. It’s just you in the void. Does shame make sense here? Does guilt have a voice here?
What more can we hear in silence? What do we see in darkness? What sensations do we feel in our bodies?
This exercise can be repeated as often as you like. It is beneficial for releasing all depths of trauma and becoming more in touch with personal triggers, which puts us more in control of our reactions and expands our compassion for ourselves and others.
