The CCE Applique Drop Down Door Seal is designed to provide a reliable barrier against fire, smoke and sound. Face-fixed onto the base of the door leaf, it activates automatically when the door closes, effectively sealing the gap to prevent smoke from passing between rooms or fire compartments. The Applique can be installed on both the hinge side and lock side of the door, offering flexibility to suit different installation requirements.
Certifire approved (CF5995), the Applique is suitable for use with 30 and 60 minute timber fire doors. It has been fire tested to BS476 Part 20/22 and BS EN 1634-1, smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3 and acoustically tested to achieve a sound insulation rating of up to 29dB Rw.
