Описание: Here is part 1 of 3 of my samurai inspired scene. This is in no way historically accurate as I often draw in a free style (Fantasy) approach from memory/imagination creating my own elements. If you are interested in how to draw with only a brush and ink stay tune as in the future I plan to explain my opinion and method of approach. Why use a brush? I use a brush because of line variation, flow, texture, and little physical strain on my wrist as you don't have to press down like say a pen or pencil. Ink is very versatile and I prefer it over water color or other mediums because of how dark you can get with tone. I tend to try and focus on Black (darkest tone) and White (lightest in value) to create the greatest amount of contrast in my drawings. Any grey I use is to add dimension, to express shadow, or to break up noise in busy complex scenarios. If you have any questions want to know more please comment below.
