2002 Steel City Chevy Trucks 250cc MX Championship (Final Round) RC GOES FOR PERFECT SEASON #1

Описание: This is the 12th and final round of the 2002 Chevy Trucks 250cc AMA Motocross Championship from Steel City Raceway in Delmont, PA.

Coming into this round, Honda's Ricky Carmichael was having the season of all seasons with a perfect 22-0 record for moto wins and 11-0 for overalls. At the last round at Binghamton, (with the title already in his pocket) Carmichael put himself 2 more moto wins and 1 more overall win away from the unthinkable -- the first ever perfect Motocross season. Nobody had come close to that since 1996 when Jeremy McGrath was going for a perfect 15-0 Supercross season, only to suffer his only loss at St. Louis to Jeff Emig. On a positive side note, Suzuki rookie replacement, Sean Hamblin #99 nailed down a 3rd overall at Binghamton, marking Suzuki's first ever Outdoor podium since Travis Pastrana podiumed at the Phoenix Supercross in January with a 2nd place finish.

The chase for the title is over, but for other guys like Tim Ferry, Ezra Lusk, Sebastien Tortelli, Kyle Lewis, and John Dowd, the time is NOW to stop Carmichael from a possible perfect season.
