Collector's Hacker Cruiser | FTL Multiverse

Описание: Feels like forever since I last played a variant of Slug Hacker cruisers. I was meaning to replay the C variant from base Multiverse because of its buffs through v5.4/v5.5, but I never got around to it unfortunately. I suppose I could pretty easily play and record a run on it anytime I wanted, but we're in the middle of this TRC playthrough, so yeah. I don't really have much to say today.

The Collector's Hacker Cruiser is a pretty straight forward vessel, similar to how the A type from base Multiverse operates. Perhaps this ship is the result of combining Hektar B & Hacker A. Anyways, starting with decent crew and hacking gives you a good amount of early game leeway despite no means of inflicting system or hull damage from the hanger bay. Four weapon power also allows you to pivot and utilize weapons easier without having to spend scrap to supply the reactor. The only direct downside the cruiser has is the relatively low reactor, but battery can compensate a lot for that. The room layout seems sketchy at first, but thanks to that one singular door connecting Shields to the right hand side of the cruiser, it turns out to be alright to manage. I had planned to do a Chaos Mode run, but decided I wanted to try a casual Sector 8 standard victory instead following the creation of my Hard-Extreme guide. Or at least, the first half of that guide.

This run's seed wasn't particularly interesting, but a Sylvan kill is somewhat cool despite not dedicating the Magic Hat reroute to an exotic ending/Aether Technology. Might be my first Sylvan kill using a Minelauncher too (excluding Onslaught, cause Onslaught is an actual weapon). I probably should've stopped bothering to do any bio-kills once I had the hull-killing setup ready to go, but I don't know, I don't even remember playing this run less than 12 hours ago, let alone remember why I made the decisions I made. This is the video evidence of it happening but I have no recollection of me sitting here and playing the game at that time.

I'm hungry, I think there's some leftovers in the fridge.
