As part of our Pride Month celebrations, BITS Embryo Hyderabad, in collaboration with Law Society BPHC was honored to welcome Ms. Arundhati Katju - a trailblazing advocate and human rights lawyer who has amplified marginalized voices and driven transformative change in the pursuit of equal rights.

Ms. Arundhati Katju is a prominent Indian lawyer and a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights. She played a key role in the historic 2018 Supreme Court case that decriminalized homosexuality in India (Section 377). She has also worked on constitutional law, white-collar crime, and human rights issues, making her a leading voice for equality and justice in India’s legal system.
