Ultra Accelerator Link (UALink) is an open, high-bandwidth, low-latency network designed to interconnect AI accelerators into scale-up Pods. This presentation will explore the configuration and control of a UALink Pod via standards-based interfaces to a centralized Pod Controller and distributed Management Agents. By standardizing these interfaces, along with the GPU management interfaces being standardized in OCPs GPU management interfaces workgroup, we promote interoperability and open choice for the over 100 accelerator, switch, and platform vendors and hyperscalers who make up the UALink Consortium. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the architecture, limitations, and security considerations of UALink Pods, equipping them with the knowledge to optimize AI infrastructure.
