My First Visit to Newton Abbot, which started well, there was a points failure in the Newton Abbot area and I was stuck outside the station for an hour while Newtork rail were fixing the issue.
Once I got off the train, the plan originally was to go to Dawlish to film, but with delays to services after the points failure was fixed, I decided to stay at Newton Abbot to do some spotting.
Services from here are operated by both Cross Country & Great Western Railway.
Services operate to Paignton, Exmouth, Exeter St Davids, The North Including Scotland, London Paddington & to Plymouth & Penzance.
Trains Included the following:
Class 43 Castle Sets and Intercity
Class 143 Pacers
Class 150
Class 158 Express Sprinters
Class 220 Voyagers
Class 221 Super Voyager
Class 800's & 802's
