From the readme file:
"ADAM - V1.2 - Written using Virtual Reality Studio by Incentive Software
Adam was designed as a Virtual Reality game for my nephew. His dad bought a computer in 1992, and as you know computers tend to soak up funds quite quickly and computer games for the kids were not high on the list. Adam is your typical 2nd grader with interests in Rubber bands, Bicycles, and Calvin-and-Hobbs type adventures, so this game was based on those interests.
Object of the game: You start out armed with a rubber band shooter, and an
unlimited supply of rubber bands. Your mission is to destroy the rubber band
shooters before they destroy you, and find your way home before dinner."
I discovered you can run by holding the right mouse button when clicking the movement controls or when using the keyboard controls (which have really odd mappings, this was before WASD was the standard, but nowadays you can use Autohotkey or DOSBox's internal remapping to address this).
Appears to be made in this game engine, likely the same one Suite-3D was made in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_Cons...
Just a weird little game from my childhood I decided to show off since I didn't see any footage of it online. As a kid I found it in a massive shareware catalogue, Shareware Overload Trio. Some of the games on it were fun, interesting, or bizarre, but many were broken due to seemingly missing files. Lot of strange little oddities on that one. This one's VIRADAM.ZIP on disc 1, find it here:
