New Orleans is the home to bounce music, one of rap's numerous sub-genres. It's also home to the historic rap label Cash Money Records which started in the early 90s and paved the way for many artists to rise to be prominent figures in rap. Namely artists such as Birdman, Lil Wayne, Juvenile, and many others. Take a journey with me as we go from the start of record label and talk about the various artists that signed to the label. This is of course isn't an all encompassing look as that would take hours for a record label this expansive but you get the idea.
