The installation process requires high precision to ensure a flat, stable, and safe walking surface:
Site Preparation: The subfloor must be clean, dry, and free of dust. All underfloor cabling, piping, and HVAC ducting should be completed before starting.
Grid Layout: Marking the starting point and tracing the grid layout with lasers or chalk lines to ensure the floor remains square.
Pedestal Fixing: Pedestals are affixed to the concrete using epoxy adhesive and, in some heavy-duty cases, mechanical anchors.
Leveling: A laser level or builder's transit is used to adjust each pedestal to the exact Finish Floor Height (FFH).
Panel Placement: Panels are laid into the grid, starting from the center and working toward the walls. Perimeter panels are cut to fit against columns and walls.
Finishing: Once secure, top finishes such as carpet tiles, vinyl, or stone are applied.
