This special dual hybrid excavator has both an Electric Motor and a Diesel Engine which can be switched between Electric or Diesel power at the push of a button from the cabin.

The Diesel Mode is Ideal for areas without electricity or where mobility is needed. The Electric Mode is Perfect for locations with available power.

After the success of implementing this advanced dual hybrid concept in various Tata Hitachi excavator models, IEPL has skilfully achieved another milestone & integrated the dual hybrid concept into the used Komatsu PC 210-8 excavator.

We have modified components from Komatsu engine to Cummins engine & introduced Kawasaki hydraulics. It also has the exclusive Siemens electric motor for EV. IEPL demonstrates such customization, which is being introduced for the first time in India.

The optional features include a 360-degree swing and a 150-meter reel for rolling electrical wire.

Other excavator attachments, such as grabs and electric magnets, suit the dual hybrid excavator.

This innovation is a game-changer and the first of its kind in the construction equipment industry, delivering crucial benefits such as lower operating costs and savings of up to 75% when operated in electric mode, increased productivity, reduced maintenance, and more. It has been effectively tested for over 2,000 hours, and its optimal performance has been verified.
