ADF | Royal Australian Navy Fleet Review

Описание: Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla visited Australia between 18 and 23 October 2024. It was The King’s first Royal Visit as Sovereign, and the first visit by a reigning monarch since 2011.

During their visit, Their Majesties visited the Australian War Memorial and Parliament House in Canberra on 21 October 2024; and observed a Royal Australian Navy Fleet Review and Australian Defence Force fly-over along Sydney Harbour on 22 October 2024.

The critical role of the Australian Defence Force during the visit Their Majesties demonstrates close relationship between the monarchs and Australia’s military forces. His Majesty The King has a long and proud relationship with Navy, Army and Air Force organisations, who holds a number of honorary ranks.
