Описание: Thank you so much for stopping by and welcome to my 32nd unboxing video featuring the iconic "Like A Prayer" album. In this video, the CD is the US Club Edition from BMG. The cassette one is a Philippine pressing with a unique booklet type inlay instead of the common fold out ones. You know what's cool? The cassette booklet looks like some sort of novena booklet, even the fonts. If you're a Catholic, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Madonna really is something y'all!

Like a Prayer is the fourth studio album by American singer and songwriter Madonna, released on March 21, 1989 by Sire Records. Madonna worked with Stephen Bray, Patrick Leonard, and Prince on the album while co-writing and co-producing all the songs. Her most introspective release at the time, Like a Prayer has been described as a confessional record. Madonna described the album as a collection of songs "about my mother, my father, and bonds with my family." The album was dedicated to Madonna's mother, who died when she was young.

This album surely put Madonna into the iconic status... so that'll be 9.3/10 score for me. Leave it to Madonna to have the controversies regarding religious imagery and sensitive topics, she won't hold back one bit. Love the majority of the songs and the aesthetic of this era. My top faves are Express Yourself, Cherish, Promise To Try, Love Song, Dear Jessie, Act Of Contrition, and of course... her iconic title track!
