VR Oculus casting is a pretty simple task but to do it without Chromecast you must have a Smart TV that uses Android.

Unfortunately, Chrome is the only software that supports Ouclus Casting which is why you either need to have a TV that uses Android itself OR buy a Chromecast device to override your TV’s native smart TV capabilities to get the job done.

Annoying, yes but until VR & AR really hit mainstream adoption, we aren’t going to see Oculus casting as a general feature on smart TVs anytime soon.

The reason my TV in this tutorial shows up in my headset’s casting menu is because the TV uses Android Natively.

I honestly love what Facebook (or Meta) have done with the Oculus Quest 2 so far. by changing their name to Meta it's clear that I have big plans for the virtual word and I'm really excited to see how it all goes.

I've slowly been adding more games to my headset as I go. I'm trying not to get too obsessed with the damn thing and just stick to app that help me take a breather from my regular work day. I must say though some of the game guides in the Quest app store look pretty cool though so it is tempting!
