Swindler II | Iconic 1941 Willy’s Coupe Gasser Dragster | Show, Shine, Shag and Dine

Описание: We’re in historic Henderson, NC for this high-horsepower edition of My Classic Car. We fire it up with a legendary vintage dragster by Stone, Woods, and Cook Racing. This original racer is a monstrous 1941 Willy’s Americar Coupe that has been named the “Favorite Race Car” of its era. With its supercharged 394cu.in. Oldsmobile engine emerging from the hood, “Swindler II” is still a symbol of ‘60s speed. It was so cool to see it at the Show, Shine, Shag and Dine!

After that, we check out a Traditional Style Hot Rod with a lot of unique touches. From its specially designed stadium seating to the beefed-up bored-out 355cu.in. Chevy engine powering it, “Lucky 13” is one bad ride.

Then it’s time for a nostalgic Top Fuel dragster that pushes up to 2500HP. Great Expectations II is a record-setting dragster built by Don Long and bodied by Tom Hanna. This insanely powerful race machine packs a massive Blown 392 Hemi that runs on 100% Nitromethane. It’s no wonder this cackling Mopar-powered beauty won so many races, including three NHRA Division 1 championships.

Finally, we’re crossing the finish line with a 1971 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler that you just do not get to see in as nice of condition as this one. With only 353 of these made in ’71, this mostly original muscle car is as unique as it is rare, especially with the Mercury Cobra Jet 429 Ram Air power plant.
