Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be talking about the Deka Battery Terminal Protection Kit. It's always a smart idea before you put your RV away for the winter, or just to constantly check up on your batteries to keep that corrosion to a minimum, it's going to affect the performance of your battery and that will affect all the appliance you spent decent money on.So not only are you going to need a good clean battery connection on the battery that powers your vehicle, you're also going to need clean connections on your batteries that power all your appliances. And this is just a very simple, simple maintenance thing that's going to save you a big headache in a long run. So what we get with this kit is a battery terminal cleaner.

So, that's going to be the first step to get that terminal nice and clean. And we do also have a cleaner as well that comes with it. It's going to fit over your terminal and is clean all of that nasty stuff on that terminal.And then once we do that, we are going to have our oil and that is going to do the preventing against all that corrosion. And we do have some pads here and we are going to be able to put it on any type of size terminal. We can do the smaller ones like we're going to use here.

Or if you have a bigger terminal, you can tear that out and it's going to fit those as well. So, one other thing I've noticed is once you use this oil, it is an oil-based formula, it gets your hands all sticky. They actually included some wipes, so you don't have to worry about that.So I'm going to go ahead and take our battery cleaner and just spray it on our terminal there, let it foam up. I'm actually going to spray it on our cable here as well. And let that sit for a little bit.

And I'm going to go ahead and grab our cleaner here. So we can pull this apart and that's what I'm going to use to clean the inside of our terminal here. Make sure we get optimal connection there. And then I'm actually going to use the bottom side here to clean my terminal. I'll put it on top, just twist it.

And once that's all done, I'll just come through and just kind of wipe all that excess off. And then, I am going to take our pad here, grab our protection spray, get it nice and covered.Once we do that, I can just go ahead and put this back on there. And that's just going to give me peace of mind just knowing that I've taken care of these batteries because you guys probably know just as well as I do, they're pretty expensive. And of course my hands are a little sticky here. I'm just going to go ahead and use these wipes that are included to clean up, clean my hands off a little bit. Now that we're done, you can close up then you can get back doing what you we're doing.So when it comes to battery terminal protection, here at etrailer.com, we do have many different options.
