Part two of our fingerstyle lessons has us learning the first section of BIg Star's "Thirteen," an all-time classic tune from the legendary Memphis band. We concentrate on just the thumb pattern (as we did in our previous fingerpicking lesson); in later installments we take on the other fingers and complete the sound.

About the teacher:
Django Haskins is a guitarist/singer/songwriter/teacher in Chapel Hill, NC. He taught at the National Guitar Workshop in CT for fifteen years and has recorded and toured extensively over the past 25 years. He leads the band The Old Ceremony and also plays in Au Pair, a duo with Gary Louris of the Jayhawks.
