At the U.S. Securities & Exchange, we’re working on a few things to bring greater fairness and transparency to our markets.
A few things we've already done:
1 - We put out a request for comment on digital engagement practices.
2 - We proposed rules to increase transparency of short sale activity.
3 - We proposed rules to shorten the standard settlement cycle for most securities transactions.
