This vector illustration took 5.5hrs in Affinity Designer to complete and I somehow edited it down to roughly 11mins. I tried to focus on the most important parts of the process which are: Linework, shadows, mid-tones, highlights, there's a section where I use gradients to develop the face, and a section at the end where I create vector jewelry.
This illustration was used as part of a package for ESSENCE.com
