Last year, I planted my sweet potato slips too late and didn’t get a harvest at all—lesson learned. This year, I planted earlier and was so excited to see what was waiting for me. I’m harvesting sweet potatoes grown in containers and grow bags, which makes this a great option for beginner gardeners and anyone with physical limitations—no heavy digging required!
I’ll be honest though… I left some of the sweet potatoes in the soil a little too long, and a few started going bad. Gardening keeps us humble, right? 😂 Every season teaches us something new, and we keep learning and improving as we go.
