"Vice President JD Vance dismissed the notion that the U.S. operation in Iran would lead to a prolonged conflict on Monday, saying there is no way Trump would let Washington end up in a multiyear conflict.

“What’s so different about this is that the president has clearly defined what he wants to accomplish,” Vance told conservative talk show host Jesse Watters on Fox News’ “Jesse Watters Primetime” in his first interview since the U.S. strikes on Iran over the weekend.

“There’s just no way that Donald Trump is going to allow this country to get into a multi-year conflict with no clear end in sight, and no clear objective,” he continued."
