The sky isn't falling, but it does throw space rocks at us from time to time. Meteorites are pieces of rock and metals that have fallen and hit a planet's surface. There are three categories that scientists use to classify meteorites, there are stony meteorites, iron meteorites, and stony-iron meteorites. In today's episode, Dr. Laura Wilson will be showing you how to identify the three types, how we maintain our meteorite collection, and what we can learn from studying them.
