As part of Epiphone's "Inspired by Gibson" line of guitars, the Les Paul Classic was a fantastic first glimpse into Epiphone's new quality and sound. The guitar was available in 3 finishes. Honey Burst, Heritage Cherry Sunburst, and Ebony. each guitar was equipped with Epiphone ALNICO Classic PRO Humbuckers with coil splitting capabilities. This is an incredible guitar that comes at a very low cost (typical retail price around $499.99). It has a very bluesy and subdued tone that is still unmistakably Les Paul.
