ODM Secretary-General Edwin Sifuna has accused Suna East MP Junet Mohamed of mismanaging 2022 campaign funds from former President Uhuru Kenyatta, claiming some money was not remitted to the party or its agents.
Sifuna dismissed allegations of intimidation, insisting that no one can expel him from ODM, and reaffirmed that Raila Odinga never endorsed William Ruto.
Sifuna to Junet: I know the money we used for campaigning came from Uhuru Kenyatta. You took that money, failed to remit it fully to the party and ate some of it instead of paying agents. You cannot intimidate me. No one can chase me out of ODM. Raila never said we should support Ruto, he told me clearly, Kasongo must go home in 2027.
