While one-door lifts in HDB flats have been known to be old, windowless and not stop at all floors, these unique lifts are a notable exception. Everything from the mechanical parts to the electrical controls are from the late 90s, and are of the standards used in freshly-installed Fujitec HDB lifts from that era. However, lift upgrading wise, there were a few blocks which had shaft constrains, and thus a conventional two-doored, octagonal cab lift would not be feasible in these cramped shafts. Hence, these lifts featured a single door placed at one corner of the cab, with said corner being completely perpendicular. Only 20 of these Fujitecs have been known to exist, 16 of which are found in this estate. Certainly a very unique example of a one-door HDB lift, which was only possible due to the shaft layout of the blocks here.
