LRT & MRT STREET VIEW ON MAPILLARY (WORK IN PROGRESS, COLLABORATION IS INVITED)

Mapillary is a street view service with crowdsourced geotagged images. The images is licensed under CC BY-SA license and can be used for contributing to OpenStreetMap and Wikimedia Commons. Users can capture images through walking, cycling, driving, etc, and it supports both panorama and 360 images.

So recently I came up with an idea of capturing images through the cab view of LRT and MRT. Currently it is work in progress and only a few sections is available. I will plan to capture the street view of LRT Kelana Jaya Line, MRT Kajang Line, and MRT Putrajaya Line, but not including underground sections. For LRT Ampang Line, LRT Sri Petaling Line, KL Monorail, KTM, ERL, the cab is restricted to passengers and only driver is allowed inside, therefore only side view will be available.

Also anyone who would like to take part in this project is welcomed. Or you can also capture the street view of newly built highways where Google Street View is not available yet.
