Simspeed Motorsports Presents: MK1 GOLF CUP CHALLENGE
Ladies and Gentlemen, Simspeed Motorsports is proud to announce the launch of our - MK1 GOLF CUP CHALLENGE - a high-octane, competitive racing league open to drivers of all skill levels. Races will take place on Wednesday evenings, with a thrilling six-round calendar:
Championship Calendar:
16 JULY 2025 – KILLARNEY (12 LAPS)
30 JULY 2025 – ALDO SCRIBANTE
13 AUGUST 2025 – PHAKISA
27 AUGUST 2025 – EAST LONDON
10 SEPTEMBER 2025 – KYALAMI
24 SEPTEMBER 2025 – ZWARTKOPS
8 OCTOBER 2025 - kYALAMI 1976
Points Format: Each driver’s 2 worst round results will be excluded from their final points total.
Car Setup: Open setup – drivers may tune their vehicles as they see fit.
WEDNESDAY Race Schedule:
19h00 – Official Practice
19h55 – Drivers Briefing (compulsory)
20h00 – Qualifying (10 minutes)
20h15 – Race 1 (LAPS TBA)
20h35 – Race 2 (LAPS TBA, Top 10 Reverse Grid)
I joined another league and this time its in a VW Golf Mk1 and its epic, although my luck is still in the gutters .... I had a blast.
