Using TENSION to transform conflict

The following clips are from a Tectonic Leadership Workshop for Middle East Conflict Transformation.

Participants were divided into groups that included Christians, Muslims and Jews. One group was asked to portray Holocaust survivors. The other group was asked to portray Palestinians in Gaza.

Their assignment:
What could you say to the other group to express your identity and your pain while recognizing their identity and pain?

What could you say to the other group that would engage them, inspire them to work with you, and bring a new level of understanding?

What could you say to the other group that would build trust, and give them hope that together as partners it is possible to create a safe and just future for your communities and all of humanity?
