St Paradise was formed in 1978 by ex-Ted Nugent band duo Derek St. Holmes (vocals, guitar) and Rob Grange (bass, vocals). Recruiting ex-Montrose drummer Denny Carmassi. Signed by Warner Brothers, they released a self-titled debut in 1979. Following a European tour supporting Van Halen, the band disintegrated. Carmassi joined Gamma and St. Holmes worked with Aerosmith’s Brad Whitford for a short time, before rejoining Nugent once more.
As I've said in live streams, I love the St Paradise album. Crammed full of classic, melodic, 70's Rock.
This is the first cover I've done from the album. I don't expect this video to go viral, I'll say that much, lol! But it's absolutely worth putting out there and sharing the love for this short lived outfit, featuring a wealth of talent.
