This week’s clash between Randburg Diggers and Wanderers was personal. Both teams sat at the bottom of the league table. For us, this was more than just a match — it was a desperate fight to escape last place. I came out firing, scoring early and giving the Diggers the perfect start. It felt like we were finally going to rewrite the story.

But things turned.

Wanderers punched back — hard. Their momentum snowballed, and by halftime, they were up 32-7. Despite a final surge in the last 20 minutes, we couldn’t claw it back. The match ended 63-17, and with emotions running high, things got heated in the final moments — scuffles, words, and boiling frustration on both sides.
